Definition:-
       A short hand notation to represent the name of an element is called symbol.


Rules:-
      Certain rules apply to element symbols. The first letter is always capitalized, while the second and third (for unverified elements) is lowercase.


Examples:-
      

1. H is the chemical symbol for hydrogen.
2. C is the chemical symbol for carbon.
3. Si is the chemical symbol for silicon.
4. Uno was the element symbol for hassium. Uno stands for "unniloctium" or "element 108."
